The plasma screen TV was fitted after to the back of the cupboard on a swivel arm after the cupboard was installed. Simon Spencer included in the design a hinge down the centre of the doors so that when closed they matched those shown on the right but when open they opened to the left clear of the viewing from the sofa opposite and the arm chair by the window.
