		A pair of Simon’s “Classical” free standing designs for alcove bookcases with cupboards below, dentil cornice and full pediment

This alcove bookcase was one of a pair of a design by Simon Spencer for a medium sized standard range of alcove bookcases (on either side of a small classic sofa), these were made in MDF but are in a faux bois, paint finish so as to appear as polished wood book cases. They are designed for simplicity in installation and are pieces of free-standing furniture standing clear of the wall and skirting behind.

	This classical contemporary design for a pair of freestanding bookcases which were extended in height to balance the spaces on either side of the fireplace and to adjust to the very high ceiling.

	This corner bookcase with display shelves and lower cupboard was custom designed to fit into this corner. Simon can similarly design a built in bookcase or, as above, as a scribed and fitted but “free standing corner book case” (to be clear of the skirting) to suit you.
