	This entrance hall had Simon Spencer’s designed bookcases so they allowed the desk under the window on the left, to be used with the library close to hand. The design incorporated the radiator case and returned the built in bookcases with the cupboards below to maximize the use of the available space.

		This study was designed by Simon Spencer in what was formerly the back patio area of a small London town house. His clients needed more space with kneeholes, pencil drawers, bookshelves, cupboards and extensive filing so that they could work properly from a home office. They built on the extension and skylight and installed the study or home office which Simon Spencer designed with them to have built in bookcases and work top with extensive filing in the long run of cupboards behind. Simon Spencer designed this bookcase surrounding the desk to suit the top floor spare room and convert it into a study and library area to include their desk but with sufficient room for a spare bed later if needs be so that it would all be part of the bedroom furniture. His design was after a Minimalist style which usually works out a little less costly than the traditional styles as the design work is simpler.

	This tiny and very complex study in a plain and minimalist style was designed for a Georgian London Town house on the half landing.
