In this very small library designed with built in bookcases had one of the shelf spaces turned into a bar cupboard behind false leather bound book backs (those on the left side are real). Clever use of overhead down lights were introduced to enhance the top shelves. |

This is a typical examples of Simon Spencer’s design ability in overcoming the problems of built in book cases with a returned corner book case in this tiny library . It was designed to be fitted into the side hall of a country house to accommodate the books and allow for a quiet area in which to work and to get away from the family at home. |
