Pilaster base mouldings are a frequent and attractive addition to Simon Spencer’s designs for a craftsmen’s workmanship.

The cupboards and pilasters for this book case design Simon Spencer did had chamfered top and bottom mouldings with the cornice returning onto the wall all in a 1920’s style.

A painted oak bookcase finish with the cornice returned to match the panel work with fluted upper pilasters having a square recessed motif and rebated lower pilasters, bolection door moulding and central fielded panel.
