Simon Spencer’s design now finished and painted with the TV over the chimney breast and the TV equipment in the right hand cupboard. The low cornice over the top of the wardrobes was designed so that there is retention of the existing decorative cornice (without the additional cost of having it specially made and rerunning it and the disruption of doing so after the main building works had been completed). Simon Spencer also made accommodation in his design of this bedroom furniture for the full curtains which were made and hung before he was invited to design the wardrobes.

The finished wardrobe above, in this case Simon Spencer provided to install an “upstand” to which the builders were able to continue the room cornice over the top of the bedroom furniture he had designed.
