	A pair of free standing contemporary book cases commissioned to be designed by Simon to compliment the neo classic furniture style as shown in the side table beside the cupboard with the TV doors closed and in the wall mirror illustrated below .


	This is the modern style that Simon was asked to emulate in his design for these custom book cases above.


	The above images show the bookcases with the doors closed on the TV in the cupboard and the table and wall mirror around which Simon was asked to designed them to compliment their styles.

	These two free-standing bookcases illustrate Simon’s ability to design to suite the customer’s Art Deco style of room (not the fireplace but the period of the rest of the house as can be seen in the room’s cornice). They were imaginatively painted to have the lowest tier of the recessed plinth to match the floor so that they appeared to float above the floor boards.
